We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced full-time motorsports technician with strong knowledge of high-performance combustion engines and the various systems of modern vehicles. We specialize in forced-induction, aftermarket parts, and outside-the-box modifications so this isn't a dealership style job where you will be doing the same basic re & re every day, this requires a different set of skills than most mechanics carry.

  • Has at least 5 years of experience in the automotive field as a red-seal technician

  • Has advanced knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems
  • Is able to diagnose all kinds of mechanical and electrical issues
  • Has a strong ability to problem solve issues with fitment of aftermarket parts
  • Has the appropriate tools and supplies for this field
  • Has basic computer literacy
  • Has well developed communication skills, written and verbal
  • Can keep a detailed log of work performed that makes sense to those with no mechanical knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of aftermarket parts installations
  • Has a valid drivers license
  • Able to work weekends
  • Welding and fabrication skills are an asset

Your roles will include:

  • Basic mechanical services
  • Aftermarket parts installations
  • Wheel alignments
  • Tire mounting & balancing
  • Help load cars on and off of our dyno
  • You will cater to the specific needs of each build efficiently and accurately
  • Diagnose malfunctions as well as perform necessary repairs
  • In depth examination of any vehicle to determine if any safety or service work is needed or recommended
  • Clearly document and record work that is performed with proper grammar and explain it in a way anyone can understand
  • Effectively communicate with the designated service manager
  • Attend race events a few times a year and support shop & customer race cars
  • Follow clean up schedules
  • Other duties as directed by management
