We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced full-time motorsports technician with strong knowledge of high-performance combustion engines and the various systems of modern vehicles. We specialize in forced-induction, aftermarket parts, and outside-the-box modifications so this isn't a dealership style job where you will be doing the same basic re & re every day, this requires a different set of skills than most mechanics carry.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least 5 years of experience in the automotive field as a red-seal technician
- Has great punctuality
- Is honest and hard-working
- Is highly organized and tidy no matter how big of a project is on-hand

- Maintains a clean, professional personal image and work environment
- Is respectful of their co-workers, customers and workplace
- Has meticulous attention to detail

- Can work with minimal supervision and is self-motivated
- Has advanced knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems
- Is able to diagnose all kinds of mechanical and electrical issues
- Has a strong ability to problem solve issues with fitment of aftermarket parts
- Has the appropriate tools and supplies for this field
- Has basic computer literacy
- Has well developed communication skills, written and verbal
- Can keep a detailed log of work performed that makes sense to those with no mechanical knowledge
- Strong knowledge of aftermarket parts installations
- Has a valid drivers license
- Able to work weekends
- Welding and fabrication skills are an asset
Your roles will include:
- Basic mechanical services
- Aftermarket parts installations
- Wheel alignments
- Tire mounting & balancing
- Help load cars on and off of our dyno
- You will cater to the specific needs of each build efficiently and accurately
- Diagnose malfunctions as well as perform necessary repairs
- In depth examination of any vehicle to determine if any safety or service work is needed or recommended
- Clearly document and record work that is performed with proper grammar and explain it in a way anyone can understand
- Effectively communicate with the designated service manager
- Attend race events a few times a year and support shop & customer race cars
- Follow clean up schedules
- Other duties as directed by management
